Bio

Eduardo Lopez is a 2nd year doctoral student in the Urban Schooling Division at UCLA’s Graduate School of Education. Prior to the doctoral program, Eduardo taught for 12 years at Theodore Roosevelt Senior High School (RHS) as a social studies activist/educator. At RHS, he taught Ethnic Studies and bilingual U.S. History. In addition, he created and directed, for 8 years, the Urban Scholar Compadres (Brotherhood) program at RHS, a program aimed at increasing the academic and personal success of young Latinx male identified students.
